Self-Awareness
You may think that this is a misprint and should read “Self Defence” instead of “Self Awareness”, but consider this ...
One of the biggest mistakes that people make after doing a self-defence course or training in martial arts is thinking that they are safe on the streets.
There is always someone bigger and better than you ready to take everything from you.
People have been seriously hurt (and even killed) because they mistakenly believed that they had the ability to protect themselves.
Alistair Thomson has been training for many years in the martial arts and knows from personal experience that performing self-defence techniques in a real life situation is no easy task. Some techniques take years of practice to perfect. Even then, when fear and adrenaline kicks in everything changes.
In response to this, he has developed his Self Awareness course. A course that everyone from an absolute beginner to the advanced martial arts student can benefit from.
The course enables you to recognise and prepare yourself for confrontational situations which may occur in every aspect of your life - whether at work, in public or at home. A course that gives you choices ...
One of his courses attendees stated “my employees are my most valuable assets and I must do my utmost to protect my staff”. Many of his staff attended the next course.
This is typical of the feedback from both businesses and individuals who gained from a Self Awareness course.
If you would like further information or references from previous course attendees please contact EWRK and we will be more than happy to help.

All of us, and the ladies especially, would be interested in further sessions covering self-defence and self-awareness if they were to be offered.
Many thanks to Alistair for taking the time to share his skills and knowledge with us,
Regards
Anne Thorn
