This course is an introduction to the nunchaku. Basic techniques will be taught and practiced on the day. Combinations and fluid techniques with be shown and taught. As part of the course you will get a certificate and a set of training nunchaku. There will be something for everyone to take from the course from the complete beginner to the more advanced student.
Padded nunchaku will be used at all times.
Cost of the course is £15.00 to members of EWRK, non members of EWRK is £20. This price includes a set of training nunchaku.
There is a £5.00 deposit to secure your position on the course as numbers will be limited.

There will be funding available to students to assist with the costs of training; for further details on the funding please contact Miss Mcfadden at Clacton Costal Academy.
We are really looking forward to this fantastic opportunity and to meeting a lot of new people and the new challenges this will bring.

5 Day Summer School

Essex Wado Ryu are very pleased to announce their first summer school.
This will be split into 5 days of training from 9am - 15.30pm each day. During this time we will be covering a number of areas from within the syllabus. If you are green belt or under and a member of EWRK you will have a chance to grade on the Friday.
The cost for the week's training for members of EWRK will be £60 for all five days, or £15 per day for non-EWRK attendees.
This will be a massive benifit to any student and their progression within the martial arts. We would encourage everyone to give it a go.
Places will be limited so that students can maximise their time with the instrutors. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
